About Us

West Prairie High School is a progressive school on the the cutting edge of new programs.  In the last few years, West Prairie has been at the forefront in the implementation of RtI, PBIS, 1:1 technology, adoption of common core standards, and the use of student growth measures in the teacher evaluation model. WPHS is a rural school, serving 165 students.

There are 14 full time and 3 part time (shared with the middle school) teachers supporting our students. The campus is located just south of Sciota at the corner of 800th St. and IL Route 9 between Good Hope and Blandinsville. The small setting creates a family atmosphere for both students and the faculty/staff.
