College Bound Student Athletes

 NCAA Eligibility


Juniors and Seniors - If you are interested in trying to play sports at the NCAA Division I or II Collegiate Level, please let Mrs. Shurtz know. You will need to make sure that you have taken certain courses in high school. You also need to have your ACT scores sent to NCAA Eligibility, and you need to go to the NCAA Eligibility Center to learn more. This website does require a registration fee. If you are eligible to receive a free or reduced price lunch at the school, Mrs. Shurtz can waive this fee - you need to come in to the office to request this.




 NAIA Eligibility


Juniors and Seniors - If you are interested in playing College-level sports at an NAIA School, such as Culver-Stockton College, Olivet-Nazarene University, Iowa Wesleyan College, IL Institute of Technology, Benedictine University (Springfield), then let Mrs. Shurtz know. You will need to explore the NAIA Eligibility website and also have your SAT/ACT scores sent to the eligibility center. This website does require a registration fee. If you are eligible to receive a free or reduced price lunch at the school, Mrs. Shurtz can waive this fee - you need to come in to the office to request this.
